     Abstract: I will present our recent results on the geometry of moduli spaces of Riemann surfaces. This includes the proofs of the goodness in the sense of Mumford of the Weil-Petersson metric and the new complete Kahler metric we introduced,  the proof of the Nakano negativity of the Weil-Petersson metric and its consequences on Chern forms and the rigidity of the moduli spaces.
