Abstract：In this talk we will introduce our recent work on a conjecture of Griffiths about the vanishing of the automorphic cohomology on the compact quotients of non-classical period domains, as well as its geometric applications to the geometry of non-classical period domains. This is a joint work with Professor Kefeng Liu.
