报告题目：An introduction to minimal model theory
摘要：The classification theory plays a central role in modern algebaic geometry. Algebraic curves and surfaces are thouroughly studied by Italian school and many mathematicians such as Noether, Enriques and Kodaira. However, the birational classification of higher dimensional algebraic varieties is still a very open problem. Minimal model theory was developed by many mathematicians such as Mori, Kollar, Kawamata and Shokurov, and it is a powerful tool in classification theory. In this talk I will introduce the basic notions of minimal model theory and classic theorems such as cone and contraction. Afterwards I will discuss the famous result of Birkar-Cascini-Hacon-McKernan.
