摘    要: We study the norm estimates of  the normal differentiation of spherical harmonic in S^n along the subsphere in S^{n-1}. As application we prove the discrete appearance of discrete components in the complementary series representations of SO(n, 1).

张根凯教授简介：张根凯教授，瑞典 Chalmers University of Technology 和 Gothenburg University数学系教授。1991 在 Stockholm University 获得博士学位，导师是国际著名调和分析与泛函分析专家 Jaak Peetre教授。1992-1995 在丹麦Odense University及澳大利亚 University of New South Wales 做博士后和 Research Associate，与国际著名李群与共形几何专家 Bent Orsted 教授以及调和分析及动力系统专家 Anthony Dooley 进行学术合作，取得许多深刻成果。2001 年获瑞典数学会 Wallenberg 奖。近年来在华罗庚算子，Complementary series 表示， H-type groups等研究领域做出杰出工作。许多成果已在Duke Math. J.， Math. Ann., J. Funct. Analysis， J.Geo.Analysis 等数学杂志发表。
