Title: Geometrization of surfaces and 3-manifolds, part II

Abstract: I will describe the model geometries in dimension 2 and 3,
and explain why all surfaces are geometric. In part II, I will
explain why not all 3-manifolds are geometric, and describe the
sphere and torus decompositions needed to cut them into geometric
pieces.
