   The Calabi-Yau equation and symplectic geometry

        I will describe Donaldson's conjecture on the Calabi-Yau equation for
manifolds with non-integrable almost complex structure and its application
to symplectic 4-manifolds. I will talk about some recent progress on this
conjecture. This is a joint work with V. Tosatti and S.T. Yau.  arXiv:math/0703773
