Title: Industrial Statistics

Abstract:

In this course, we first introduce the fundamental concerns of industrial statistics, using examples for illustration. Details on each step will be discussed, including control chart, design of experiment, reliability, response surface methodology, quality assurance and six sigma and data mining. Mathematical formulation will then be presented and discussed. The state-of-art research results will be given at the end. Some research potentials will be discussed.
