2008 WORKSHOP ON ALGEBRAIC GEOMETRY AND PHYSICS

The Center of Mathematical Sciences, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China,
and the Mathematical Physics and Geometry group of the International School
for Advanced Studies in Trieste, are organizing WAGP08 - 2008 WORKSHOP
ON ALGEBRAIC GEOMETRY AND PHYSICS.

The Workshop will take place at the Center of Mathematical Sciences in Hangzhou
on September 20 to 24, 2008 (working days), and its topic will be "TOPOLOGICAL STRINGS:PHYSICS AND GEOMETRY".

The scientific organizers are Ugo Bruzzo (SISSA, Trieste), Jun Li (Stanford), Kefeng Liu (UCLA & CMS), and Shing-Tung Yau (Harvard & CMS,Chair).

WAGP08 is the 12th event of a series of Schools and Workshop that have
been organized by the Mathematical Physics and Geometry group
of the International School for Advanced Studies in Trieste in conjunction
with leading institutions around the world. Past events have taken place
in Trieste, Salamanca and Medina del Campo (Spain), Luminy (France),
Como (Italy), Philadelphia (USA), Vienna (Austria), Seoul (Korea).
